Résumé
Un jeune homme vient à Tokyo pour devenir poète (il compose d'ailleurs beaucoup à travers le livre !). Mais on ne peut pas subvenir à ses besoins avec de la poésie, alors le héros travaille pour un cabinet semi-juridique qui fait toutes les courses possibles. Ce faisant, il rencontre beaucoup de gens, hommes et femmes, qui s'intéressent étrangement non pas à ses rimes, mais à son… corps ! Une tragi-comédie absolument charmante.

Aida Rendou, ancienne étudiante et future poète, lutte pour gagner sa vie dans la grande ville. En tant que découvreur de talents pour la société de vidéo pour adultes M+ Productions, il recherche des actrices potentielles, mais cela ne suffit pas à payer le loyer. Le patron Nanazuka lui propose donc de l'argent supplémentaire pour utiliser son corps afin de séduire les hommes comme les femmes. Michiru, une jeune femme gâtée ayant des relations avec les Yakuza, propose ce qui semble être une solution parfaite : elle sera la marraine de Rendou en échange de son travail comme hôte à plein temps. Rendou pourra-t-il enfin écrire sa poésie ? Ou finira-t-il par être corrompu par le monde amoral des chiens mangeurs de chiens qui l'entourent ?
