Résumé
Plica-chan est l'histoire douce-amère et réaliste de Plica, une jeune lesbienne en quête d'amour dans le Japon moderne. Insistez sur l'amer plutôt que sur le sucré – pas parce que Plica ne trouve pas l'amour, ne vous méprenez pas ! Amère parce que c'est juste une fille amère.
Le manga, écrit en bande dessinée à 4 cases, a été publié à l'origine dans le magazine Anise et est désormais publié dans LOUD News, le bulletin d'information de l'organisation LOUD. On peut également le trouver en ligne. Les commentaires de Plica portent souvent sur la nature de la sexualité, les relations entre hommes et femmes et entre femmes et femmes.
Toute la bande commence sur une note basse, alors que Plica revient du mariage d'un ex-amant. Mais peu de temps après, Plica rencontre Mari, pour qui elle commence très vite à avoir des sentiments. Mais, comme la plupart des bouchers, Plica est trop incertain pour tenter quoi que ce soit. Dieu merci, la femme Mari est, comme tant de femmes, parfaitement disposée à poursuivre ce qu'elle veut. Elle et Plica sont ensemble depuis. Comme je l'ai dit, c'est une bande dessinée douce-amère – plutôt plus réelle que fantaisiste, alors ne vous attendez pas à des roses et des lys. 🙂
Il faut un certain temps pour s'habituer à l'art si vous êtes habitué au style manga plus traditionnel, mais il est bon de faire une pause par rapport à l'habituel de temps en temps. 🙂
